Technician
Gaby supports patients as a technician at Leonard-Bennett Optometry. She plans to attend nursing school and hopes to build a career as an aesthetic nurse.
Jocelyn
Technician
Jocelyn assists the doctors with pretesting, seats patients in exam rooms, and helps patients learn how to use contact lenses. She enjoys making each patient’s day easier, especially by helping people see more clearly. She hopes to become an optometrist one day.
Diego
Optician
Diego grew up in the surrounding area and is enrolled at Santa Monica College. He especially enjoys playing soccer in his free time.
Rocio
Administrative Specialist
Rocio joined Leonard-Bennett Optometry in 2004. She has more than two decades of experience helping patients in the medical field. Her Paraoptometric Coding Certification (CPOC) is currently pending.
Outside of the office, you’ll find Rocio looking after her four daughters and embracing her passion for music.
Missony
Assistant Manager / Optician / Lab Technician
Missony joined Leonard-Bennett Optometry in 2013. He has more than 15 years of experience helping patients solve vision problems, including 5 years as a Lab Manager. He is a college graduate and is currently awaiting his American Board of Opticianry Certification (ABO).
On his desk, you’ll likely find examples of his passion for woodworking and carpentry. His garage includes a few classic cars. Outside of the garage, he loves playing guitar and perfecting his smoked BBQ recipes.
Hasmik
Technician
Hasmik met Dr. Leonard while he treated her father. She grew up in Hollywood and is currently studying to become a Registered Nurse.
Maria
Optician
Maria joined Leonard-Bennett Optometry in 2024. She is studying to become a medical assistant at National Career College, where she has earned her diploma and is working toward certification. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her children and walking in parks near her home.
Madeline
Optician
Madeline is committed to becoming the best optician she can be. She enjoys helping every patient and has a special fondness for working with children.
Nancy
Billing Accountant
Working behind the scenes as Leonard-Bennett Optometry’s billing accountant, Nancy helps keep the practice’s billing and financial records organized.
Shi
Optician
Shi has worked as an optician for two years and is building a long-term career in the field. Shi is also working toward certification from the American Board of Opticianry.
Stacy
Receptionist
Stacy is one of the practice’s receptionists, and she enjoys helping everyone who comes into or contacts the practice. She has a four-year-old son and wants to continue working in a medical office.
