On Thursday, November 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Leonard-Bennett Optometry (formerly Dr. Barry Leonard & Associates) invited the local business community into their offices to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s. The Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce organized the event.

A highlight of the event was the Christmas Tree with paper ornaments, each containing the name of a child in need of a Christmas Gift. Attendees took the names and brought in gifts for these deserving children.

Penny Lane Centers organized the gift campaign, an organization committed to fostering hopes and dreams by empowering children, youth and families to reach their highest potential. Stonefire Grill catered the food, and 818 Brewing provided the beer.

A good time was had by all, and lots of kids were certain to receive Christmas gifts.
